Senior Analytics Engineer
We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our Data Engineering team which sits under Tech and Data.
Please note, the minimum expectation for office attendance is one day per week in our central London office.

The role
- Set up training for non-coding Circlers to enable them to model data to best practices
- Identify actions and optimisation opportunities for modelled data across our domains
- Be a teacher: be generous with your time and expertise to teach stakeholders and fellow engineers how to answer their own questions
- Play a key role in designing and establishing best practices for modelling and processing data
- Help support data culture initiatives to grow data maturity at Funding Circle
What we’re looking for
- Proficiency in SQL/ Python/ Pyspark and/or other languages relevant to data processing Extensive experience in dbt
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP or Azure
- Excellent probleming solving skills and attention to detail
- A passion for creating business value through data and to inspire others
- Strong communication skill and the ability to translate technical skills to non technical stakeholders
- Understanding of what good looks like and the ability to set best practices and standards
